Nothing Beats Garden Fresh

When we got home from our vacation, I was super excited to discover that not only did our garden not totally die (thanks neighbor!), but it also had some produce ready for the picking!

Apparently it doesn't take spinach any time at all to get to maturity, and Darrell and I were certainly happy to make a fresh spinach salad part of our dinner fare the other night.

The rest of the fixins--grilled pork, roasted green beans, watermelon, and whole wheat bread!
And because I've done a terrible job updating the progress of our garden this year, here are a few shots of it from this morning!

Tomatoes, Beans, Peas, and Peppers

Spinach, Onions, Carrots, and a little bit of the Broccoli plants

Squash/Zucchini (fingers crossed that they don't get destroyed by pests like they did last year!)
