Photo Every Hour: July 21st

7:30 Not a bad view for my wake up call

8:00 As far as the grandkids are concerned, Grandpa's phone is good for one thing and one thing only--watching trains

9:00 We usually try to worship at a church in the nearby town, but they were having a community wide service this morning so we opted to hang out at the cabin and watch the live stream of our home church's service

10:00 Typical church behavior--pajamas, puzzles, playing games on the rug...

11:00 Playing kickball in the play room has become the latest obsession and watching Connor attempt to keep up with the big boys is pretty awesome

12:00 Lunchtime aka a random spread of leftovers from the weekend

1:00 Even though the rest of the family has to head back to Sioux Falls, we decided to stay and enjoy the rest of the day. But we don't have dinner plans, so into town for a quick trip to the grocery store I go

2:00 Enjoy some checkers and lounging during nap time

3:00 Swimming time!

4:00 So swimming was a little short lived because it didn't quite warm up as much as we had hoped. But fishing was a great second option, and go figure--the one who really didn't have a clue what was going on was the first one to catch a fish

5:00 Packing up so we can head home after dinner

6:00 Time to eat!

7:00 The worst part of weekends at the lake--leaving to go home

8:00 Brushing teeth before heading to bed!

9:00 Working on a fun little project...

10:00 Still working... (Details coming soon!)

Not nearly soon enough of a bedtime after a long weekend at the lake, but such is life

Photo Every Hour: June 21st

7:00 My boys don't understand the concept of summer. Connor was up at 6:15, William at 6:25, and Garrett at 6:40. At least one of them will give me cuddles to make up for the early morning

8:00 Typical breakfast scene at our house. Garrett is done eating, William hasn't even come to the table to start eating, and Connor is on his second breakfast (because if you don't feed him something the minute he gets up he is a hangry monster, but don't you dare exclude him when you are getting food for his brothers)

9:00 It was pretty short-lived, but they actually all sat together and did the same activity without making each other mad right away!

10:00 Checking out a Storyland Opera performance of "The Three Little Pigs"

11:00 Trying their best to use their words to settle their disagreement (but doing so in Mommy's room because that's where she was and they always have to try to tattle on each other before being reminded that it isn't Mommy's problem and they need to solve it on their own)

12:00 We've been back from our annual beach trip for three days and I'm still not caught up on laundry. Joy

1:00 Not only am I not caught up on laundry, but I still haven't put away the laundry that I washed yesterday #momlife

2:00 Enjoying a little show after nap

3:00 Dr. William performing a checkup on Garrett (I'll let you just guess how long this lasted before it massively escalated out of hand and in to tears)

4:00 When the kids are driving you crazy, ship them outside. Grateful for a break in the rainy weather we've been having

5:00 So. Much. Laundry

6:00 Suffice to say we polished off that dinner!

7:00 Stopping for some ice cream after a quick bowling outing for Daddy's birthday

8:00 How we kill time while the boys are having their reading time. We're so mature

9:00 Prepping for a parade tomorrow. Darrell has to be there at 9:15 but it doesn't start until 10:30, so I'm preparing myself with plenty of snacks to survive the wait

10:00 Does it count if I picked out the recipe for Darrell's birthday cake on his birthday even if I didn't make the cake until the next day?

Goodnight from my beach babes!
